Three November Events for Teams Planning Passivhaus Housing

The final Residential Passivhaus Client Club events of 2026 offer opportunities to hear from delivery teams, explore completed work and ask questions about your own plans.

Planning Passivhaus housing raises questions that are best discussed with people who have taken projects through design and construction.

What does delivery look like from a main contractor's perspective? How do clients approach high-performance housing? And what can a site visit reveal that drawings and presentations cannot?

The final 2026 Residential Passivhaus Client Club events, organised by the Passivhaus Trust, bring together different perspectives on these questions.

ISOQUICK is pleased to sponsor the programme alongside AtkinsRealis and Ecological Building Systems.

Here are three November events to explore.

4 November: the contractor's perspective with Kind & Co

The Business Case for Passivhaus is an online session from 2pm to 3pm UK time. Organised by Kind & Co, it draws on the contractor's experience of early engagement, design coordination, procurement, buildability and quality assurance. Evette Prout is the named speaker.

The free session is intended for housing providers, local authorities, developers, consultants and others interested in delivering Passivhaus homes. The listing says there will be time for questions and discussion.

5 November: High Performing Buildings in Cardiff

High Performing Buildings with Arup is an in-person breakfast meeting at Arup, 4 Pierhead Street, Cardiff Bay, from 8am to 10am UK time. The Passivhaus Trust, AECB and Arup are holding the event.

Speakers listed are Ann-Marie Fallon, Co-Director of the Passivhaus Trust; Jonathan Davies, Director of Sustainability at Spring Design; and Harry Bowen, Project Manager at MWP Developments. The programme covers certified Passivhaus design in social and public housing, followed by informal discussion and networking.

The event is free and booking is essential. The listing asked attendees to RSVP by 28 October. That deadline has passed, and the listing does not confirm that late bookings are available.

24 November: seeing Passivhaus at Agar Grove

Seeing is Believing - Agar Grove, London is an in-person visit from 1pm to 2.30pm UK time. The visit focuses on established phases of Camden's regeneration scheme and how the development has evolved since work began in 2015. The exact meeting location is still to be announced.

The event is free, but it is not open on the same basis as the other sessions. Places are primarily reserved for representatives of local authorities and social housing providers, with a separate allocation for a limited number of Passivhaus Trust members. Registrations must use a work email address and will be reviewed. The listing says booking is available until 2pm on 22 November, subject to availability.

Make the learning relevant to your next project

You do not need to arrive with every part of your project settled.

It can be useful to bring a short list of questions based on your current stage: preparing a brief, considering procurement, coordinating the design or planning construction.

Check each event's audience and booking conditions to find the session that best matches your role and project.

Supporting practical Passivhaus learning
