The brief was to build a family home to passive house standards but with Paper Igloo Architects, that goal was far exceeded with an architecturally beautiful home with ultra-low energy bills. ISOQUICK was chosen to form the foundation of this family home in Stirling.



When they embarked on this project, St Albans based developer Surreal Estate developments set out to prove that energy-efficient houses can make economic sense, both in terms of energy saving and financing. They chose ISOQUICK to form the foundations of the three-unit private development. Read the project's Passive House + Magazine feature below.

ISOQUICK has been used for Orchard Grove Primary School, Somerset's first ever carbon net-zero school, which is currently under construction and is expected to be ready for staff and students from September 2024.

Councillor Dixie Darch, executive lead member for climate change and the environment at Somerset Council, said: "Orchard Grove Primary will be an historic building of which Somerset can be proud, being the first fully net-zero, climate resilient school in our county. 

The architect owners of Tethera, a private holiday home in the Lake District specified ISOQUICK for their Passivhaus build. The project was profiled in RIBA Residential 22 and more details on the project can be found on the architect's website linked to below.
